- Schedule a massage
- Soak in a bubble bath and play your favorite music
- Take a personal day from work and do something you love to do or just relax
- Get a babysitter (even if you have no plans of going out for the evening)
- Detox for a few weeks with plenty of greens and fruits, adopt a green smoothie habit to help you achieve this quicker
- Plan a getaway for one and enjoy peace and quiet or invite your girls or your honey to spice it up
- Book a session with a therapist to work through some challenges or trials in your life or join a support group
- Eat dessert every once in a while and don’t feel guilty
- Pick up a new hobby or revive an old one that you have let go off
- Try yoga to relax your mind and body or try Zumba to get your blood flowing and body pumping
- Talk a walk in your neighborhood or local park to clear your mind and get your body moving
- Read a good book that interest you, non-fiction to inspire you and fiction to ignite your imagination
- Let go of negative and toxic people in your life
- Schedule a pedicure and/or manicure and pick a beautiful color that pops
- Turn off social media, the internet, and the TV once in a while
- Treat yourself to a new hairstyle, haircut, or hair color
- Learn new ways to take care of your hair and make it more healthy and beautiful
- Pray and show your gratitude for the things that are going right in your life
- Cook or buy your favorite food or meal and enjoy every last bit of it (once in a while!)
- Enjoy a glass of your favorite wine after work to help you relax
- Ask for help when you know you are overloaded, overwhelmed, or overworked
- Learn to say NO to anything that does not serve you
- Keep in contact with your friends and plan regular outings to enjoy yourself in their company
- De-clutter your bedroom or your entire house, hire a cleaning service to help if necessary
- Make more time for rest in your schedule and try to get at least 6-7 hours of sleep per night
